The service at this cheap hotel was excellent. Very amiable staff we were amazed with. The location was picturesque and comfortable, in a good residential area. A cool bonus was nearby Shoco, that offered tea and coffee. It was perfectly pleasant time in Lviv.

I loved that they had an onsite restaurant, Lion's Castle. It was so convenient, we didn't have to go anywhere else. The fact that they had parking available was a major plus point for us. It's only a 20-minute walk to downtown, which is great for exploring Lviv. Lion's Castle Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to visit Lviv. The convenience of an onsite restaurant and parking, as well as its proximity to downtown, make it a great place to stay and explore the city.

Lovely place. Great atmosphere. Good size rooms at a very reasonable price. Quite romantic. Nice staff. We arrived way early after a long drive. They were kind enough to have rest in the delux apparent. Wow... If you can afford it go for it. The standard room in Austria building was also quite large and comfortable.

Do not eat at the restuarant. Waste of time and money. Honestly, I would replace the cook. Ok for small none prepared food but anything else... Just go round the corner to The Black Cat restaurant - 3 min on foot.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, nestled in a calm and green residential area near a beautiful park. It was a bit out of the city center, but I didn't mind since taxis were cheap and there was a convenient tram connecting the hotel to the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and ensuring that all my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely design that made me feel like I was living in a castle from the Middle Ages. The hotel's garden and restaurant were also stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing evening. I had a unique and beautiful experience at this hotel.

The main road not far especially on nights

The hotel is in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, 15 minutes walking distance from downtown Lviv, right in a pleasant park. If you don't like to walk though, local taxis are very cheap. Also a perfect place to bring your dog, because of the park. The room in the castle was huge and perfect value for money. Wifi and fixed line internet at good speeds. The restaurant is also pretty good and very friendly, although a bit slow sometimes. You can choose your breakfast style (English, American or traditional), good espresso is available even for breakfast. Free private parking area. Our dog could stay free of charge.

The rooms are very clean and well-designed with a pleasing Austrian style, plus the bathrooms are spotless; the breakfast was satisfying, check-in is quick, and the staff is helpful, and there's convenient on-site parking.

not easy to lift up the laggage by steps to appartments especially if you are female.Too far from the center ( not 5-10 min by the walk as it is mentioned in many sites).the restorant has practice to rent itself for family ivents and it causes inconvenience and noising for hotel guests.

Spent a lovely Christmas at this charming hotel. Rooms were spacious and kept spotless, with a nice balcony to enjoy the surrounding nature. Breakfast had pleasant choices and we could enjoy it outside on good weather days. The hotel's location in a peaceful, leafy street was a plus, and we were just a short walk away from the lively downtown area with lots of bars and restaurants.

Room heating was not sufficient for the cold winter weather and the portable heater provided was not much help. it would have been great to have more room facilities like a coffee-maker or ironing board.
